Twists and turns

Over the weekend I thought I would do something different with my hair.
This time I opted for a twist and roll do. It's got a bit of personality and it's cute for a few days. Very easy to do. Just a matter of plaiting it up after a wash and adding roller sticks and several hours later you've got serious Medusa hair ;-)

Sweet treats from Victoria's Secret

Got these nice little treats as part of my VS Gift Card freebies. I love this Beauty Rush Lipgloss in Chocolicious--looks and tastes great.
The shimmer mist spray is really nice on the skin too. It has a great smooth floral like smell and leaves the skin a little sparkly. Great when you're going out at night.

Twisted Peppermint

This truly one of my favourite scents that
I have tried from Bath & Body Works. The scent
screams holiday and is so refreshing! I bought two
of the body cremes and a lotion for my grandma. Again it
opens the senses and is so delightful. The creams
and mists are very nice however I have a totally
different opinion when it comes to the candle for
this particular scent. It does not have a peppermint
smell very much but more of something burnt with a
hint of mint.
Hopefully they will have plenty of this scent
still in stock after Christmas.

The Smell of Freshness

BBWs can do some good smelling candles. This Fresh Balsam candle is one of my favourites. They also have some nice similar scented candles. I did get the Twisted Peppermint but must admit I am not crazy for the scent in the candles. I love it in the cremes. I even got Fresh Balsam wallflower. I think the wallflowers are quite refreshing once you walk into a room. Hope they have some great after holiday sales.

D-I-Y Wax jobs?

Hmmm maybe I should give it a try or at least before I return to England. Bought this stuff at ULTA. So far I have had your regular brow job with the razor, hot wax and treading and now I think I will give it a try with this one. A few years back I did the DIY with strips from M&S but that did not go over so well. I think this thing should be more simple.
Thought I would also go back to using a soothing beauty mask. These things work wonders for the eyes on bad mornings. But will still use my cucumbers :-).

Orchids and Gardenia

Ya know I like this Enchanted Orchid scent from Bath & Body Works and since there were specials as always in store I decided to snap up a few pieces from this lovely scent. Right now I can't afford the lovely scent of Jo Malone Gardenia so decided I would spring for this one.
The scent is a soft exotic floral combination of orchids and gardenia.
